AFLAS 2014 aims to bring together leading scientists, academia and researchers to promote international cooperation in laboratory animal science. The goal of the congress is centred on addressing issues in animal welfare and animal biology, capacity development and education in laboratory animal science. Cutting edge topics in anticancer research, drug development, aging and translational medicine, imaging modalities, as well as emergency response and mitigation strategies for animal facilities will also be the focus of AFLAS 2014. The organisers for AFLAS 2014 is looking forward to the participation from all AFLAS member and non-member countries alike, to foster greater international collaboration for the advancement of laboratory animal science in Asia.

AFLAS 2014 is expected to gather more than 400 local and international delegates to the congress. It includes a trade exhibition showcasing innovative products, solutions, technologies and research findings.
